National Wireless Network Merger
As a result of a merger of two major wireless providers with differing network structures, hundreds of nationwide telecommunication sites required antenna and equipment upgrades.
To provide nationwide field, office and project engineering services to client and multiple site development consultants.
The Fullerton Strategy
Fullerton and the client collaborated to create processes for each type of design document required to obtain all requisite project approvals, which among others included land owner, tower owner, and municipality. In the process, Fullerton established and managed a standard template for permit and construction documents. All client equipment and installation specifications were analyzed by Fullerton to ensure conformance with code and industry standards. Methods for status reporting were mutually agreed upon and open lines of communication contributed to the successful completion of a large quantity of projects with the highest levels of quality control. The schedule was adhered to and resulted in Fullerton receiving preferred vendor status with the client, which subsequently led to recommendations to other site development consultants associated with the project. This Fullerton managed system allowed the initial standards created by client and Fullerton to be used for the entire national project upgrade.
