Mastering Design Constraints
An existing tower at a prestigious university required an extensive structural upgrade, inclusive of a height extension, in order to support demands imposed on the pre-existing cell site without furthering the ground expansion.
Redesign of an existing site with on-ground spatial constraints to accommodate a “swap and drop” which required additional ground space, power facilities and structural support.
The Fullerton Strategy
Fullerton was tasked with a redesign of this pre-existing site which among other challenges included utilization of network operator equipment specifications as well as a public use structure owned by the university. During the entire process, Fullerton ensured that its team was engaged in constant communication with the client, owner and network operators, who were regularly apprised of all the stages of this unique challenge, and approved of Fullerton’s proposed solutions.
